he 13th edition of the Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025, the country’s largest travel trade event, will open on Thursday (October 30) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka.
Organised by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the three-day fair will feature exhibitors from 12 countries, including Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Malaysia. The event aims to strengthen Bangladesh’s position in the regional tourism market and foster collaboration among industry stakeholders.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the title sponsor of this year’s fair, which is supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the Bangladesh Tourism Board, the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the Tourist Police, and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
Speaking at a press briefing at the InterContinental Dhaka on Tuesday, TOAB President Md Rafeuzzaman said, “BTTF is the largest and most popular tourism fair in Bangladesh, which TOAB has been organizing since 2007. Our goal is to promote sustainable tourism and raise awareness of its potential contribution to the national economy.”
Md Taslim Amin Shovon, TOAB’s Director of Trade and Fair, said this year’s event would be “more vibrant and attractive” than previous editions. The fair will host around 220 stalls across 20 pavilions in four halls, showcasing a wide range of travel and tourism services. Participants will include national tourism boards, international and domestic airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, cruise companies, and hospitals.
Side events such as B2B meetings, seminars, country presentations, and cultural performances will be held throughout the fair. Documentaries highlighting Bangladesh’s tourist attractions will also be screened daily. Visitors entering through the official BTTF mobile app will be eligible for raffle draws, while bKash users can enjoy cashback on entry fees.
Among the partners, Ashwani Nayar, Area General Manager for IHG South West Asia, attended the press briefing as Gold Partner; Shahid Hamid, Executive Director of Regency Hotel & Resort Ltd., represented the Hospitality Partner; and bKash was named the Payment Partner.
The fair will remain open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Entry tickets are priced at Tk 50, while students, freedom fighters, and July fighters will enjoy free admission.
