The Chinese delegation expressed strong interest in Bangladesh’s spinning, weaving, yarn dyeing, textile machinery, electronics, IT and AI-based manufacturing sectors. They said China wants to expand cooperation with Bangladesh through technology transfer, joint ventures and industrial partnerships.

Both sides agreed that Bangladesh and China can work together to develop new production capacity, reduce manufacturing costs and strengthen backward linkage industries. The delegation also discussed opportunities for collaboration in digital technologies, electronics assembly, vocational education and skills development. Representatives from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) proposed signing an MoU with BGMEA to work together in executive education and training.
