In line with fluctuations in global fuel oil prices and under the revised automatic pricing formula aimed at setting monthly consumer-level fuel prices, the government has cut fuel prices by TK 2 Per litre for January 2026.
Accordingly, the retail price of diesel has been reduced by Tk 2.00 per litre, from Tk 104.00 to Tk 102.00.
The price of octane has been lowered by Tk 2.00, from Tk 124.00 to Tk 122.00 per litre.
Petrol prices have also been cut by Tk 2.00, from Tk 120.00 to Tk 118.00 per litre, while kerosene prices have been reduced by Tk 2.00, from Tk 116.00 to Tk 114.00 per litre.
The revised prices will come into effect from Thursday, January 1, 2026.
