The government has decided to keep fuel prices unchanged for the month of August 2025. The decision was made in line with the country’s automated pricing formula, which adjusts local prices in accordance with fluctuations in the global oil market.
According to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the move aims to ensure the continued supply of fuel at relatively affordable prices for consumers.
As per the latest official order issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, the retail prices of fuel from August 1, 2025, will remain as follows: diesel at Tk 102.00 per litre, Kerosene at Tk 114.00 per litre; Octane at Tk 122.00 per litre and Petrol at Tk 118.00 per litre respectively.
