Grameenphone, the country’s leading telecom operator, has commercially launched 5G services across all divisional headquarters, becoming the first operator in Bangladesh to roll out next-generation connectivity at this scale.
The launch marks a major milestone in the company’s efforts to drive digital transformation and empower communities with future-ready technology.
Grameenphone CEO Yasir Azman announced the development through the company’s official Facebook page, calling it a historic step in Bangladesh’s journey toward becoming a Smart Nation.
“This is a proud moment for Grameenphone as we launch 5G services across all divisional headquarters, delivering transformative technology to the people of Bangladesh,” Azman said.
