Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam has invited Turkish investors to invest in the economic zones of the country as Turkish Minister of Trade Professor Ömer Bolat called on him, says a BSS report.
On Friday, the meeting of them took place on the sidelines of the “Antalya
Diplomacy Forum-2025″ in Turkey, said a ministry press release here today.
During the meeting, it said, important aspects of bilateral trade and
economic relations between Turkey and Bangladesh were discussed.
Referring to the historic ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two
countries, Turkey’s Minister of Trade said the Turkish government is
interested in strengthening economic relations with Bangladesh.
During the meeting, Prof Ömer Bolat also expressed interest in holding a session
of the Turkey-Bangladesh Joint Economic Commission in Dhaka later this year.
