Power supply from Unit-2 of the 1,600MW Jharkhand power plant resumed at full load on Tuesday following the repair of a boiler tube leak, officials confirmed.
According to sources, synchronization of Unit-2 began at 7:00 PM on Thursday, initially supplying 636.62MW of electricity. The unit had suspended power generation at midnight on Friday due to the leak.
During this period, the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) received up to 738MW of electricity from Unit-1.
However, Unit-1 also suspended supply for four days due to a boiler tube leakage, an official said.
