Migration llatform Ami Probashi launches airport transfer service

Ami Probashi, a Bangladesh-based digital migration platform, has partnered with transport provider Garibook to introduce airport pick-up, drop-off and meet-and-greet services for migrant workers and Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).

The agreement, signed in Dhaka on 10 June, is designed to make international travel safer and more convenient for Bangladeshis travelling overseas for work, as well as expatriates returning home.

Under the partnership, users of the Ami Probashi platform will be able to book airport transportation through Garibook, which operates a fleet of professionally driven vehicles. The service aims to provide reliable transfers to and from airports, helping travellers avoid common transport and logistical challenges associated with international journeys.

The collaboration will also introduce airport meet-and-greet assistance, offering support with arrival and departure procedures, including guidance through key immigration and emigration processes. The companies say the initiative is intended to reduce stress for first-time migrant workers and overseas Bangladeshis navigating busy airport environments.

Ami Probashi describes itself as a technology-driven migration platform that seeks to address challenges faced by migrant workers through digital services. The addition of airport support services expands the company’s range of migrant-focused offerings, providing assistance both before departure and upon arrival.

Garibook, a premium ride-sharing and transportation provider in Bangladesh, will deliver the transport and airport assistance services as part of the arrangement.

The agreement was signed by Ahsanul Haque, Head of Operations and Sales at Ami Probashi, and Syed Rajib Hossain, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Garibook. Also attending the signing ceremony were Inam Ahmad, Head of Marketing at Ami Probashi, along with representatives from both organisations.

The partnership reflects growing efforts within Bangladesh’s migration sector to improve end-to-end support for overseas workers, a group that plays a significant role in the country’s economy through remittance earnings.
