During the operation, 208 feet of GI pipes, 120 feet of hose pipes, one regulator, and one valve were confiscated. Abdullah Al Mamun, the manager of Denimix Washing, was fined Tk 1,00,000 under the Bangladesh Gas Act, 2010.

Another operation in the Baraleora area of Tongi severed the illegal gas connection of Ultraviolet Washing from the source.

Meanwhile, a mobile court, led by District Administration Executive Magistrate Hasibur Rahman, fined the company Tk 70,000 for unauthorized gas use.

In Kashimpur’s Bagbari area of Gazipur, around two kilometers of illegal distribution lines were removed. Over 500 unauthorized residential gas connections were identified, and 400 meters of illegal pipelines were dismantled.

These operations are part of Titas Gas’s ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal gas usage and enforce compliance with the Bangladesh Gas Act, 2010.
