The government has decided to mobilise diesel generators to keep network services running in flood-affected areas, according to a statement on the verified Facebook page of the chief adviser of the interim government.
It has also assured telecom service providers that it will bear a portion of the fuel costs to help maintain uninterrupted connectivity during the crisis
Meanwhile, emergency rescue workers remain dedicated to restoring telecommunication networks across the flood-hit regions of Bangladesh, working to ensure vital communication channels remain open.
