LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has once again earned national recognition for its commitment to sustainable business practices and innovation, securing two accolades at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025, hosted by the Bangladesh Brand Forum.
LHB was named Best Building Materials Company of the Year and received an Honorable Mention in the Clean and Alternative Fuel category, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable construction and circular economy initiatives. These achievements highlight the company’s continued efforts to align its operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The awards ceremony, held on July 12, 2025, saw Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque, Commercial & Logistics Director, and Farjana Ehsan, Deputy General Manager, Strategy & Business Development, receiving the award for Best Building Materials Company.
The Clean and Alternative Fuel recognition was received by Mr. A K M Atiqur Rahaman, Human Resources Director, and Tamrin Chowdhury, Deputy Manager, Geocycle.
