State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak on Wednesday asked the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to realise Tk 53 billion for spectrum allocation from Teletalk the arrears.
He gave the instruction in a review meeting on the preparation of BTRC for the implementation of Smart Bangladesh held at BTRC office here, said a press release.
He also emphasised for introducing the active share in Teletalk’s network with Banglalink and Robi to reach more subscribers connectivity. The active sharing of Teletalk will help to save money of the state-owned telecom operator, the minister pointed out.
Earlier, BTRC has presented power point presentation about outstanding arrears of state-owned Teletalk.
BTRC chairman Engr Md Mohiuddin Ahmed and commissioners and director general also attended at the meeting.
