Emirates has extended its Southeast Asian network to 23 destinations with the launch of two new routes connecting via Bangkok to Da Nang, Vietnam, and Siem Reap, Cambodia.
According to an official release, both routes will be operated by the airline’s wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, renowned for offering Emirates’ signature onboard products and award-winning service. The new routes also provide travelers with seamless connectivity to Dubai and beyond through the airline’s extensive global network.
With the latest additions, passengers can now enjoy smooth travel across three destinations—Dubai, Bangkok, and either Da Nang or Siem Reap—on a single ticket, enhancing convenience and connectivity.
Da Nang now becomes Emirates’ third gateway in Vietnam, joining Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The airline now operates 25 weekly flights to the country, supported by robust partnerships including recent memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Vietnam Airlines, VietJet, and Sun Group. These collaborations aim to further strengthen Vietnam’s role as a key aviation hub in Southeast Asia.
Meanwhile, the new Dubai–Bangkok–Siem Reap route will operate three times a week, complementing Emirates’ existing daily service to Phnom Penh via Singapore. With this expansion, Emirates will now offer 10 weekly flights to Cambodia, reinforcing its commitment to supporting tourism and trade in the region.
