Emirates resumes regular operations following minimal disruptions on June 23

Emirates has resumed its regularly scheduled operations after experiencing minimal disruption on 23 June due to regional tensions, the airline said in a press release.

Most of Emirates’ fleet experienced only brief suspensions or delays following the escalation of the Iran-Israel conflict, which prompted several airlines to reroute flights over Qatar and Iraq after the U.S. launched strikes in Iran.

The airline swiftly activated its robust contingency and disruption management plans. There were no diversions, only a limited number of cancellations, and a few flights that took longer routes due to airspace congestion.

Over the past two weeks, Emirates successfully operated more than 5,800 flights, transporting over 1.7 million passengers across its global network by rerouting services to avoid conflict zones.

While flights to Amman and Beirut were temporarily suspended, they resumed promptly. Emirates emphasized that only routes directly affected by the conflict were halted, with all other destinations remaining fully operational. The airline said it continues to closely monitor the geopolitical situation, maintain close coordination with global aviation authorities, and evaluate all risks to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. All operations continue to comply with the highest international regulatory and safety standards.
