OPPO, a global leader in smart device innovation, officially launched its highly anticipated Reno14 Series 5G smartphones in Bangladesh with a vibrant musical celebration that blended cutting-edge technology with rich cultural storytelling.
The launch event, held at Aloki in Dhaka recently, featured an electrifying live performance by legendary rock band ARTCELL and brought together tech enthusiasts, media, creators, and industry partners.
The event also marked the Bangladesh launch of OPPO’s global “Culture in a Shot” collaboration with Discovery, which highlights how modern imaging technology can preserve and promote cultural heritage.
The campaign’s local edition—“The Story of Jamdani through Reno14 Series 5G”—pays tribute to Bangladesh’s ancient Jamdani weaving tradition, using OPPO’s advanced AI imaging capabilities to digitally preserve the 2,000-year-old craft and honor the artisans behind it.
Speaking on the occasion, Damon Yang, Managing Director of OPPO Bangladesh Authorized Exclusive Distributor, said: “We are proud to launch the Reno14 Series 5G with a celebration of both innovation and heritage. Artcell’s incredible performance and our collaboration with Discovery reflect OPPO’s mission to inspire, connect, and empower people to tell their stories through technology.”
With the Reno14 Series 5G, OPPO sets a new benchmark for AI-powered imaging and smartphone creativity—while also contributing to the preservation of Bangladesh’s timeless traditions.
