At the National Hajj and Umrah Fair 2025 held in Dhaka recently, the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), under its national tourism brand “Saudi, Welcome to Arabia”, showcased an exciting mix of destinations and experiences.
Five leading Bangladeshi travel companies — including Ababil Hajj Groups, Amda Tours and Travels, and Amin Tours and Travels — introduced curated ‘Umrah+’ packages, featuring Red Sea cruises, heritage site tours, and scenic getaways designed to highlight the Kingdom’s diverse attractions.
The fair drew thousands of visitors, many expressing keen interest in exploring Saudi Arabia’s hidden treasures. The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of becoming a global tourism hub while deepening cultural ties with Bangladesh.

In recent years, growing numbers of Bangladeshi travelers have sought to combine their religious rites with leisure experiences. Among the highlights promoted at the fair:

Easier Access for Bangladeshi Travelers
As part of its Vision 2030 tourism expansion, Saudi Arabia aims to welcome more than 3 million Bangladeshi travelers annually by 2030. To support this, the Kingdom has simplified visa processing for Bangladeshi nationals, ensuring quick approvals for Umrah+ visitors.
Currently, more than 50 weekly flights operate between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, making travel convenient and hassle-free.
With this expanded range of leisure options, Bangladeshi travelers can now experience Saudi Arabia as both a spiritual and memorable destination.
