Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood met with Dr. Abdelouahab Saïdani, Ambassador of Algeria to Bangladesh, at the Minister’s Office in the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting focused on potential memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on cooperation in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as well as preparations for the Hon’ble Minister’s upcoming visit to Algeria.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Algeria, promoting mutual interests, and expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division (EMRD), Ziaul Haq, was also present at the meeting.
