Huawei has launched roadshows for the 12th edition of its flagship competition, ‘Seeds for the Future Bangladesh’, aimed at enhancing the country’s ICT ecosystem by improving students’ ICT knowledge and skills.
As part of this initiative, roadshows were recently held at East West University, RUET, AUST, and BRAC University, engaging over 1,000 students.
During these sessions, Huawei presented the objectives of the ‘Seeds For The Future’ program, its roadmap, preparation tips, and opportunities for the students. Additional roadshows will be held at several other universities across the country.
The roadshows will continue until March, followed by the official inauguration of the program in April, when registration will open for applicants. The winners of the competition in Bangladesh will advance to the regional competition in China.
‘Seeds for the Future’ is a knowledge- and skill-based global competition for university students. Since its launch in Bangladesh in 2014, the program has gained strong recognition among academics and students for fostering future ICT leaders.
Each year, winners from different countries advance to the regional and global rounds. To date, over 15,000 students worldwide have participated in the programme.
