Huawei launches training center in Bangladesh to boost skills

Huawei has launched a state-of-the-art training center in Dhaka aimed at improving the skills of network professionals working on Base Transceiver Stations (BTS).

This initiative underscores the companyā€™s commitment to empowering local engineers and workers while ensuring global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards in Bangladesh.

The training center will focus on two key areas: equipping local BTS professionals, including customers, subcontractors, and channel partners, with hands-on training and practical knowledge in installing and commissioning BTS equipment, and promoting EHS standards for BTS professionals.

As part of the initiative, Huawei recently conducted a drill for subcontractors to provide training on maintaining EHS standards while installing and commissioning BTS equipment. During the drill, the company emphasized the importance of upholding EHS protocols in all work situations.

Pan Junfeng, President of Huawei South Asia and CEO of Huawei Bangladesh, expressed, ā€œWe are committed to empowering telecommunications professionals by providing them with the latest technology training. At the same time, Huawei follows global guidelines to ensure the safety of telecom workers and the maintenance of high EHS standards. This training center is a reflection of our dedication to supporting telecom professionals. We believe it will play a crucial role in enhancing their skills and ensuring their safety on the job.ā€

Huawei continues to enhance its engineering services and EHS management by integrating digital technologies to monitor risks in real time, ensuring safety across all work scenarios.
