Power supply from Unit-2 of Adani Power Plant in India’s Jharkhand resumed today after days of shutdown following technical problem in the boiler.
The Unit-2 was successfully synchronised with the national grid at 7:47pm today, official of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) told the just energy news.
By 9pm, power supply from both units of this power plant recorded 921 MW, he added.
Last week, Adani-operated Godda Unit-2 has suspended more than 700MW of electricity supply due to a technical fault.
This could force authorities to impose around 150MW of loadshedding in Dhaka couple of days, an official said.
“The Godda Unit-2 was withdrawn due to abnormal sound in the APH-2A guide bearing,” an official said.
