The government has increased different types of fuel by Tk 1:00-2:50 per litre considering the international market.
The new tariffs will be effective on May 1, 2024.
The tariffs adjusted as per the government automated fuel prices each month.
As per the new tariff adjustment, the diesel and kerosine prices increased by Tk 1:00 per litre to Tk 107 now.
Besides, petrol and octane prices have raised by Tk 2:50 per litre to Tk 124:50 for petrol and Tk 128:50 for octane.
On the other hands, the gas tariff for electricity generation has also increased by 0:75 per cubic meter.
Now, the gas tariff for power generation to Tk 30:75 per cubic metre and captive power to Tk 31:50 per cubic meter.
The country has produced record 16477MW of electricity at 9:00PM on Tuesday.
