Huawei recently organized a campus recruitment program at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), attracting students from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) departments.
Approximately 200 students participated in the recruitment process, which included an MCQ examination followed by interview sessions for shortlisted candidates. Those selected will be offered the opportunity to work with Huawei.
The event was attended by key representatives from both Huawei and BUET. From Huawei, the delegation included Linxiao, HR Director; Kaushik Ahmed Reza, Senior Marketing Manager; Md. Fara Newas, Senior HR Manager; and Md. Khalid Hossain, Assistant HR Manager. BUET was represented by Prof. Dr. ABM Harun ur Rashid, Head of the EEE Department, and Prof. Dr. Forkan Uddin from the EEE Department.
Linxiao, HR Director of Huawei, stated, “Huawei remains committed to developing the ICT talent ecosystem in Bangladesh by offering valuable employment opportunities to fresh graduates. We regularly conduct recruitment programs at various universities to foster career growth and technological advancement.”

This initiative not only enhances employment prospects but also equips our students with real-world experience.”

The majority of Huawei’s employees in Bangladesh are recruited locally, contributing to Huawei’s operations both in the country and at its global offices.
