The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Bangladesh Office on Wednesday announced the launch of a videography contest to engage the public in sharing their personal experiences with the MRT Line 6 developed with JICAās cooperation.
The contest titled #MyMRTExperience invites citizens, filmmakers, and content creators to capture their daily experiences with the MRT.
The contest aims to showcase how the MRT has transformed the daily lives of its passengers and contributed to Dhakaās urban mobility, since its launch, according to a release.
To participate, upload a video (maximum duration of 2 minutes) on Facebook with the hashtags #MyMRTExperience #JICABangladesh #DhakaMetroRail. After posting the video, participants must complete the following form:
Participants must submit the video before February 28, 2025.
Only original and self-recorded videos will be accepted, and more than one submission will not be accepted. The participants must ensure their Facebook profile is set to public to partake in the contest.
Participants will stand a chance to win prizes, as the top 3 videos will be awarded a cumulative amount of TK 50,000. Videos will be judged on criteria such as relevance to theme, creativity, technical quality, impact, highlighting partnership and innovation, and reach.
