BIDA launches upgraded one-stop service portal for investors
Staff Correspondent
The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has launched the new version of its One-Stop Service (OSS) portal, designed to enhance service delivery for both domestic and foreign investors.
Originally introduced on February 24, 2019, the OSS portal (accessible at https://bidaquickserv.org) consolidated 134 services from 44 organizations, streamlining the investment process and reducing costs for businesses.
The newly unveiled version incorporates advanced features aimed at improving accessibility, transparency, and efficiency.
Key Features of the Upgraded Portal
Public Service Performance Dashboard:
The dashboard displays comprehensive data on the number of applications processed by BIDA and its associated stakeholders, alongside their resolution timelines.
Online Monitoring and Application Tracking:
Applicants can now monitor the real-time status of their applications, ensuring greater transparency.
Convenient Service Access:
Investors can obtain information about OSS portal services without needing to log in, enhancing user-friendliness.
In accordance with the BIDA One-Stop Service Rules, 2020, all applications are required to be processed within a specified timeframe. The monitoring dashboard also enables higher authorities to oversee service delivery effectively.
This initiative reflects BIDA’s commitment to fostering a seamless, investor-friendly environment. The upgraded OSS portal is accessible at https://bidaquickserv.org.
