State minister for power and energy Nssrul Hamid has sought more Swedish support for clean energy transition in readymade garment sector as the European nation worked over the 40 years in country’s RMG sector.
Nasrul made the request when Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexandra Berg Von Linde paid a courtesy call on at the latter’s office here on Sunday.
During the time, they discussed various issues related to mutual interests, a press release said.
They discussed how to contribute more to renewable energy, the release added.
Lovisa Hofmann, Head of section for Politic, Trade and Communication at Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka was also present.
