Remal, have been restored, said an official spokesperson on Tuesday.
A total of 2.42 crore connections, out of 3.03 crore, were restored, deputy principal information officer Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin said in a press statement.
Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) has incurred a loss of Tk1.33 billion due to the cyclone as per the primary estimation.
The ministry of power, energy and mineral resources has expected to restore 95 percent of the connections on Wednesday morning, according to Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin.
