EDOTCO extends ‘Tower to Power’ initiative in Dinajpur

EDOTCO Bangladesh, the country’s one of the leading telecommunications infrastructure provider, has extended ‘Tower to Power’ CSR initiative through renewable energy support at St. Francis High School in Dinajpur with 2.2 KW uninterrupted electricity sourced from solar panels integrated into its telecom tower.

This initiative addresses the school’s persistent power shortages by supplying electricity to student hostels and ensuring a comfortable and conducive learning environment for 250 students and staff.

The launch event was attended by Country Managing Director of EDOTCO Bangladesh Sunil Issac, Director of Engineering Dr. Sabbir Ahmad, Director of Operations Md. Monowar Sikder, along with the District Education Officer of Dinajpur, the Bishop of the church, and school authorities.

The ‘Tower to Power’ initiative is a reflection of this vision, using renewable energy to address critical electricity shortages in underserved areas.
