Begum Jamila Shabnam and Muhammad Hasnat Morshed Bhuiyan have been elected president and general secretary of the 28th BCS (Administration) cadre recently.
This newly elected committee will serve for the 2024-26 term.
Other elected office bearers are Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman and Begum Subarna Sarker as Vice Presidents, Md. Ibrahim as Joint Secretary, Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud as Organizing Secretary, Deepak Kumar Roy as Sports and Cultural Affairs Secretary, and Saifur Rahman as Welfare Secretary. Md. Mamun was elected as an Executive Member.
The unopposed elected members are Muhammad Hasnat Morshed Bhuiyan as General Secretary, Mamun Al Faruq as Treasurer, Begum Shammi Islam as Publicity Secretary, A H M Mahfuzur Rahman as ICT Secretary, Dipankar Roy as Legal Affairs Secretary, Nurul Huda as Deputy Treasurer, Chowdhury Ashraful Karim and Md. Shahadat Hossain as Executive Members, and Md. Shahidul Islam as Office Secretary.
Two-day online voting took place from 10:00 AM on November 27 to 10:00 AM on November 28, 2024. Out of 201 members of the 28th BCS (Administration) cadre, 191 participated in the voting process to elect a 17-member executive committee.
